Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the use of this website and to enquiries made through it. The work itself is carried out under the written quotation we issue for your job; where anything in that quotation differs from this page, the quotation applies.

Sending an enquiry through this website does not create a contract and does not book work into the diary. It is a request for us to come and look at your roof.

Quotations are given in writing after the roof has been inspected. A quotation sets out the scope of the work it covers; anything found once work is underway that falls outside that scope is raised with you and priced before it is carried out.

Prices shown in a quotation are valid for the period stated on it. Nothing on this website is a price or an offer.

We agree dates with you in advance. Roofing depends on weather and on safe working conditions, so dates may move; we will tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give us safe access to the roof and to the area around the property needed for equipment, and to tell us about anything relevant we could not reasonably see, such as previous repairs, known structural problems or fragile surfaces.

We remove the waste from the work we carry out and leave the site clear.

The guarantees we give are workmanship guarantees on the work we have carried out, confirmed in writing when the job is complete:

A guarantee covers our workmanship. It does not cover storm or accident damage, damage caused by other trades or by later alterations, wear to parts of the roof we did not work on, blocked gutters left uncleared, or problems arising from work you asked us to leave out of the quotation.

To make a claim, contact us on the number or email above and describe what has happened. We will come and look at it.

We hold £2m public liability and £10m employers' liability cover. Evidence can be provided on request before work starts.

Payment terms (including any staged payments on larger jobs and the date the final balance is due) are set out in your written quotation and invoice. We do not take payment through this website.

Where you engage us as a consumer away from our premises, you have the statutory right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing the work. If you ask us to begin within that period and then cancel, we may charge for what has already been done.

If you need to move an agreed date, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to re-schedule.
